Rucksack by Moschino Milano

Looking for a bag you can wear with anything and to anywhere? We bring good news: rucksacks are back and they are chicer, cooler and more diverse than ever. What started as a practical street trend has grown out to be the it-bag of the seasons, dominating many runways varying from Maison Margiela to J.W Anderson. This spring summer, the offering is updated with bright colours, crazy motifs, embroideries and crochets, and a multitude of pockets and zippers and flashy details.

Ploughing through the assortment, we picked one we felt fits right in with the wildly experimental spirit of Tehran’s menswear as captured in many of our street style queries. A little bit Michael Jackson and a whole lot of 80’s cool, we fell in love with the Moschino leather rucksack! Designed to resemble the classical leather jacket, the bag is quite unisex, laden with the Moschino emblem and has plenty of pockets and zippers to balance the perks of modern day life.

Anything but norm-core, Jeremy Scott’s offbeat Moschino oeuvre, driven by his playful views on fashion have made him one of the best designers of our times. Remarkable about his work is the way he balances the high-end concept with commercialism, creating clothes that are both fun and experimental and evoke desire and humour at the same time. Master of Kitsch- and one of my favourite designers- I’ve always wanted to see his creations in an Iranian setting. Two birds one stone! More Moschino?
